Submission

Each season, a new edition of Blue Mirror is created through the help of the editors and the student body.
Each student can submit a total of five pieces of art and literature each. There is a hard limit of 5 submissions for art and 5 for literature and any extra submissions will be ignored.
We cannot accept work that is profane or vulgar in nature. If you are unsure, simply ask the editors.
You should submit original work or give credit to any work referenced. What is published is up to the discretion of the editors.
After the submission deadline, student committees will meet to vote on which pieces they want in the magazine. Afterward, the editors cut submissions down to 15 works of art and 15 works of literature, establish the final line-up of pieces, and construct the magazine.

Submit by sending an email to bluemirror@ncssm.edu.
In the subject title, include:
- Your preferred name
- The title of your piece(s)
- Whether your piece is art or literature
- What medium your piece is
Please attach all art as Google Drive links and paste all literature into the body of the email.
IMPORTANT: Please send the highest quality photos of art submissions. Do NOT watermark submissions.
You must acknowledge in your email that your work follows these guidelines and that you will accept all consequences of not adhering to the guidelines.
